General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)

General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) at Siddartha Group is a three-year diploma program approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and Telangana State Nursing Council. It aims to prepare clinical nurses who can provide bedside care, handle emergency maternity deliveries, and support healthcare networks across rural and urban settings.

Year-Wise Curriculum Overview

The diploma program is structured as follows:

• First Year: Anatomy, Physiology & Microbiology, Behavioral Sciences (Psychology & Sociology), Fundamentals of Nursing, First Aid, Personal Hygiene, and Community Health Nursing I. Focus on primary diagnostics.
• Second Year: Medical-Surgical Nursing (including Pharmacology), Mental Health & Psychiatric Nursing, and Child Health Nursing (Pediatrics). Extensive hospital postings start in this year.
• Third Year: Midwifery & Gynecological Nursing, Community Health Nursing II, and Professional Trends & Co-ordination. Includes mandatory internship postings inside general hospitals.
